Chinese Drywall Inspection and Removal
If a property was built between 2004 and 2006 in the states Florida, Texas, Louisiana there is a possibility it was built with what is known as Chinese drywall. This drywall over time causes health issues as well as damage to wiring and plumbing in the property and is considered a liability to the owner of the property.
Removal
If the Chinese drywall must be removed we will use certified contractors in this field as well as a general contractor that will oversee the removal and/ or replacement of the damaged areas this includes reinstalling new drywall, fixtures, wiring, plumbing, carpet, tile to bring the property back up to code.
Inspection
As part of our inspection CPP will complete the following:
- Measure level of hydrogen sulfide with meter.
- Drill 12 holes in drywall and use a Borescope to find label.
- Take drywall sample and send to a lab for analysis.
- Provide complete remediation/repair of Chinese Drywall.
